Ziflow alternative: check what the artwork says
Ziflow organises the review. LYNCE checks the finished file against the brief, the price list and the master copy. Different jobs, and plenty of teams need both.
If you’re looking for a Ziflow alternative, start with the job you want done. Ziflow is an online proofing platform: it routes creative to reviewers, collects markup, keeps versions in order and records approvals, and its ReviewAI checks content against review criteria you set up in advance. LYNCE is not another proofing platform. It is an AI proofreader for finished artwork: it reads images and PDFs against the brief, price list and master copy for that job, and flags wrong prices, dates, typos and translation errors in under a minute. If the review process is what hurts, compare proofing platforms. If mistakes are getting through the process, that is what LYNCE is for.

Two reasons to look for a Ziflow alternative.
You want a different proofing platform
Then you’re shortlisting workflow tools: PageProof, Filestage, GoVisually, Approval Studio and others live in that space alongside Ziflow. LYNCE isn’t on that list. It doesn’t route proofs, assign reviewers or collect signatures, and this page won’t pretend otherwise.
You want fewer mistakes reaching approval
Then the gap isn’t routing. A wrong price can travel through every stage of a well-run workflow, because nobody in the chain had the price list open at that moment. LYNCE reads every file against the documents it has to agree with, before the review starts.
What Ziflow does, by its own account.
Ziflow describes itself as online proofing software for reviewing and approving creative content. Its site lists multi-stage workflows that route assets to reviewers automatically, pixel- and frame-level markup, pixel-level version comparison, electronic signatures and audit trails. File support runs from JPGs and InDesign files to HTML5 ads, live websites and video, with integrations such as Asana, Jira, Slack and Adobe Creative Cloud, and SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications.
It also has AI. ReviewAI is Ziflow’s AI-assisted review engine. Its ReviewAI page describes ReviewAI for Checklists as checking content against pre-set review criteria and suggesting comments and markup, which reviewers then verify. It lists two more features as coming soon: change verification, to confirm that new versions reflect earlier feedback, and brand standards, to flag issues from logo placement and tagline usage to fonts and colours. Early access, it says, is for existing Ziflow customers, and people keep the final say.
How LYNCE differs from Ziflow’s ReviewAI.
ReviewAI works inside the review, against criteria your team sets up in advance. LYNCE works on the finished file, against the documents for this particular job: this week’s price list, this campaign’s brief, the English master the German version was translated from.
It reads every price, date, phone number and line of copy, compares the versions with each other, and pins each finding on the artwork, ranked must fix, inconsistency or worth checking, with a suggested fix. A checklist asks whether the asset meets the standard; LYNCE asks whether what it says is true for this job. What LYNCE checks →

Ziflow details are taken from Ziflow’s public website (ziflow.com, including its ReviewAI and supported file types pages) as read on 22 October 2026, and may change; verify current features with Ziflow before deciding. Ziflow’s prices are deliberately not quoted: they change. “Not listed” means we couldn’t find the capability documented there, not that it’s impossible.
Keep Ziflow. Add the check.
The tidiest setup for most teams: LYNCE before the proof goes up, Ziflow for everything after.
Before the first proof
Scan the campaign in LYNCE with the brief, price list and master copy attached. Reference files cost no credits. Fix what it finds, then upload to Ziflow, so the review starts on work that is already factually clean.
During review
Add the LYNCE report link to the proof. Reviewers see what was checked, and against what, and spend their round on judgement: the idea, the layout, the tone.
If you do replace Ziflow
Only if the proofing platform was mainly a safety net for mistakes. If you rely on routing, reviewer roles, signatures or video review, keep Ziflow; LYNCE has none of those. The same reasoning applies to Filestage.
Who should pick which.
Honest version: a team that needs Ziflow still needs Ziflow. The question is whether something should check the content before it gets there.
Choose LYNCE if…
- Wrong prices, dates or offers keep reaching approval, or launch.
- Each job has a brief, price list or master copy the artwork must match, and you want every file checked against it.
- You produce many sizes or language versions and need them checked against each other and the master.
- Your files are images and PDFs, and you want a findings report, not another workflow to run.
Ziflow fits better if…
- Your bottleneck is the review itself: routing, stages, deadlines and sign-off across many stakeholders.
- You review video, audio, HTML5 ads or live websites, not only static artwork.
- You need electronic signatures, audit trails, enterprise permissions or the integrations Ziflow lists.
- You want AI that applies your team’s review checklists inside the approval flow.
